Sibanye Stillwater ( SBSW ) said it will procure half of the plant's capacity for a 10-year period and has an option to extend the duration through a power purchase agreement with South African independent power producer SOLA Group, which developed and financed the 150-megawatt alternating current solar project.
Shares of Sibanye Stillwater ( SBSW ) were up over 2% in recent trading.
