07:31 AM EST, 01/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sierra Metals ( SMTSF ) reported Tuesday results for the 2024 drill program in the Marian zone within its Bolivar mine in Mexico.

Highlights include 1.29% copper, 0.34 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 10.87 g/t silver and 0.02% zinc over 26.0 meters.

Sierra said it plans additional drilling in 2025 to continue to extend the Marian zone to the northeast and at depth.

Sierra's share price fell 1.1% on Monday to $0.87 on the TSX.
