Sierra Metals Updates Mineral Reserve, Resource Estimates for Yauricocha Mine in Peru and Bolivar Mine in Mexico

07:42 AM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sierra Metals ( SMTSF ) on Tuesday provided details of its updated mineral resource and reserve estimates for its Yauricocha Mine in Peru and its Bolivar Mine in Mexico.

For the Yauricocha Mine, the company reported more than eight-year life-of-mine with 10.4 million tonnes of measured & indicated resources, and over 10-year LOM with 13.2 million tonnes of inferred resources.

The company reported over a five-year LOM of proven and probable mineral reserves of 6.4 million tonnes for the Yauricocha Mine.

For the Bolivar Mine, the company reported over 10-year LOM with 18.4 million tonnes of measured & indicated resources, and over seven-year LOM with 12.1 million tonnes of inferred resources.

The estimates include more than three-year LOM of proven and probable mineral reserves of 5.6 million tonnes.
