Silvercorp Metals' Fiscal Q1 Silver Equivalent, Gold Production Drops

05:45 PM EDT, 07/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Silvercorp Metals ( SVM ) said Monday that it produced 1.8 million ounces of silver equivalent in the fiscal Q1, which ended on June 30, down from 1.9 million ounces a year earlier.

Gold production decreased to 1,146 ounces in the quarter from 1,552 ounces last year, according to the company.

The company also produced 15.6 million pounds of lead, a decrease of 12% from a year earlier. Zinc output was down 6% to 6.4 million pounds.

The company said its fiscal Q1 revenue was up 20% year over year to $72 million. One analyst polled by Capital IQ expects $62.8 million.

Silvercorp expects to release its audited fiscal Q1 2025 financial results on Aug. 13.
