04:58 PM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SIM Acquisition Corp. I (SIMAU) said Thursday it has closed its initial public offering of 23 million units, including the exercise of over-allotment option, raising $230 million for the blank check company.

The units started trading Wednesday on Nasdaq.

The company said its main focus will be to complete a merger with a company in the healthcare sector.
