04:38 AM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SK Telecom ( SKM ) said Wednesday that it introduced an artificial intelligence-based veterinary X-ray image diagnosis assistance service in Australia.

The company said X Caliber analyzes X-ray images of dogs/cats in about 15 seconds, allowing veterinarians to examine the results on their mobile devices or personal computers "anywhere, anytime." It said X Caliber uses the cloud to store and retrieve data, meaning there is no need to install a separate server within the hospital.

The company added that X Caliber can immediately be used by over 100 veterinary clinics in Australia.
