11:26 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Skyharbour Resources ( SYHBF ) on Thursday released assay results from its 2024 winter diamond drilling program at its 35,705-hectare Moore Uranium Project in northern Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin.
The program totaled 2,864 meters in nine holes.
Among the highlights, Hole ML24-08 intersected an interval of high-grade mineralization grading 4.61% U3O8 over 5 meters starting at 265.5 meters downhole, including 3 meters of 7.30% U3O8 and 1 meter of 10.19% U3O8, with up to 10.8% nickel.
Hole ML24-03 intersected a broad interval of high-grade mineralization grading 1.11% U3O8 over 11.5 meters starting at 266.8 meters downhole, including 2 meters of 5.87% U3O8.
All holes drilled in the Main Maverick Zone during the winter of 2024 intersected significant uranium mineralization to further expand and delineate the known zone of mineralization, the company said.
The company said a fully funded 2,500-meter to 3,000-meter summer drill program at Moore focused on the Maverick Zones is underway. The follow-up 4,500-meter to 5,000-meter drill program at the Russell Lake Project where drilling at the newly discovered Fork Zone returned high-grade uranium mineralization hosted in the sandstone is also in progress.
Skyharbour shares were last seen up $0.007 to $0.438 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
