SMART Global Fiscal Q3 Non-GAAP Earnings, Sales Decline

04:17 PM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SMART Global Holdings ( SGH ) reported fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings late Tuesday of $0.37 per diluted share, down from $0.57 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.31.

Net sales for the quarter ended May 31 were $300.6 million, down from $344.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $301.6 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $0.40, plus or minus $0.15. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.40. The company expects sales for the quarter of $325 million, plus or minus $25 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $329.5 million.

Shares of the company popped 8.6% in recent after-hours activity.
