SouthState Q2 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Revenue Falls; Dividend Increased

05:25 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SouthState ( SSB ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $1.79 per diluted share, up from $1.63 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.54.

Revenue, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, for the quarter ended June 30 fell to $425.5 million from $439 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $418.1 million.

The company raised its quarterly dividend to $0.54 per share from $0.52, payable Aug. 16 to shareholders of record Aug. 9.
