07:24 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Spire Global ( SPIR ) said Friday it won a $3.7 million contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for satellite weather data from Sept. 18 to Dec. 1.

The agreement covers global navigation satellite system radio occultation data with temporal resolution improvements to deliver vertical atmospheric measurements, the company said.

The satellite observations monitor evolving atmospheric conditions in broader timeframes to fill coverage gaps, the company said.
