Oct 23 (Reuters) - U.S. supplier Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR )
will lay off workers and impose more drastic furloughs
if Boeing's ( BA ) machinist strike extends beyond next month, a
company spokesperson said on Wednesday.
"Should the strike continue beyond the end of November,
financial pressures and a significant inventory buffer will
require us to implement layoffs and more drastic furloughs,"
spokesperson Joe Buccino said in a statement.
