MILAN (Reuters) - Stellantis ( STLA ) announced on Monday an internal overhaul aimed at simplifying its structure and speeding up processes, as the carmaker presses ahead with a reorganisation it started after former CEO Carlos Tavares left in December.

As part of the plan, Stellantis ( STLA ) said in a statement it integrated its software and engineering activities and gave greater powers to its regional heads in product planning and development, industrial and commercial activities.

The carmaker, which is seeking a new CEO and is currently steered by Chairman John Elkann, also announced changes to its top management structure, including the appointment of Alain Favey as the new head of the Peugeot brand.
