Stellantis' Auto Production in Italy Falls 27% in H1, Union Says

09:48 AM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis' ( STLA ) vehicle production in Italy fell by 27% in H1, Italian union FIM-CISL said on Monday, adding that all car plants were posting "negative" production figures.

H1 production fell 26.9% year-over-year to 221,885 units with passenger car production down 34% to 123,905 units and commercial vehicle output falling 16.3% to 97,980 units, the union said.

FIM-CISL said it expects 2025 production of about 440,000 units, with output of 250,000 passenger cars.

Stellantis ( STLA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares were down over 3% in recent early trading.
