Stellantis Facing Federal Labor Charges Filed by United Auto Workers
Sep 17, 2024 3:46 AM

06:17 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) is facing federal labor charges filed by the United Auto Workers, or UAW, with the union claiming that the automaker is "illegally" refusing to provide information about product commitments it made in accordance with their collective bargaining agreement for 2023.

The UAW said it filed "federal unfair labor practice charges" on Monday with the National Labor Relations Board.

Charges also include contract grievances pertaining to Stellantis' ( STLA ) attempt to move the production of Dodge Durango vehicles outside the US, which violated the UAW's national agreement, as well as delays in reopening the Belvidere assembly plant, among others, said the union.

Stellantis ( STLA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
