Stellantis to manufacture new mass market model in Italy, sources say

MILAN, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Stellantis ( STLA ) will

assign a new mass market model to one of its Italian plants as

part of a long-term production plan due to be presented on

Tuesday to the Italian government, two sources told Reuters.

The plan will include a bigger number of hybrid models to be

made in Italy, the sources said, as fully electric vehicles are

still expected to be produced in small volumes for the next few

years ahead.
