Sunrun Shares Rise After Q2 Net Income, Revenue Beat Expectations

02:19 PM EDT, 08/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sunrun ( RUN ) shares were up more than 29% in recent Thursday trading after the company reported late Wednesday Q2 earnings and revenue that increased year-over-year and beat analyst expectations.

The energy service company reported Q2 net income of $1.07 per diluted share, up from $0.55 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.09.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $569.3 million, up from $523.9 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $559.4 million.
