10:54 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tactile Systems Technology ( TCMD ) said Monday that the pricing, data analysis and coding contract for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services approved its pneumatic compression platform Nimbl.

The product is approved for the treatment of lymphedema, chronic edema, venous insufficiency and wound healing, and will be commercially available in the US in the coming weeks, according to the company.

The approval from the pricing, data analysis and coding contractor comes after the US Food and Drug Administration granted 510(k) clearance to the device in June, Tactile Systems ( TCMD ) added.
