08:55 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Talisker Resources ( TSKFF ) said Monday that it signed an agreement to transport material from its the Mustang mine within the Bralorne gold project in British Columbia.
Talisker said gold ore from Mustang will be trucked to either New Gold's ( NGD ) New Afton or Nicola Mining's ( HUSIF ) Craigmont milling facilities for processing.
The ore hauling agreement will start with the transportation of previously stockpiled material comprising about 6,300 metric tons to be processed at the Craigmont milling facility, Talisker said. The first shipment is expected on Wednesday.
Talisker signed the agreement with Stromsten Enterprises in partnership with Bridge River Management, a wholly owned economic development corporation of the Bridge River Indian Band (Xwisten).
"This ore hauling agreement underscores Talisker's commitment to building positive working relationships with Indigenous communities in the areas in which we work," Talisker President and CEO Terry Harbort said.
Talisker's share price fell 1.9% to $0.53 last Friday.
