05:06 PM EDT, 08/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tandem Diabetes Care ( TNDM ) said Monday that some users continue to face rapid battery depletion of its t:slim X2 insulin pump and indicated it will release a newer version of the application to address the remaining issues.

The company initially recalled Apple's ( AAPL ) iOS t:connect mobile app in the US in March.

Tandem said there have been 107 confirmed adverse events and two hospitalizations associated with the recall.
