02:45 PM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Toronto-Dominion Bank ( MLWIQXX ) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Taylan Turan as chief operating officer, with effect from Sept. 29. Turan will report to Chief Executive Officer Raymond Chun.

Turan previously served as global head of retail banking at HSBC and more recently led the global integration of international wealth and premier banking. He will relocate to Toronto from London, U.K.

TD shares are up $0.60, to $105.04, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
