Telesat Invests $5 Million in Startup Firm Farcast

10:50 AM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat ( TSAT ) said Tuesday it is expanding its relationship with Farcast, a San Francisco-based startup building satellite User Terminals.

Farcast will supply an enterprise-class Flat Panel Antenna User Terminal that is fully integrated with the Telesat Lightspeed modem and ready for volume production, the company said.

Telesat ( TSAT ) said it is also making a $5 million equity investment in Farcast and will take a seat on Farcast's board.
