Telus Announcing Strategic Partnership with Mila

03:10 PM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TELUS ( TU ) (T.TO, TU) announced Wednesday afternoon a strategic partnership with Mila Quebec Artificial Institute, to explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and potential industry impacts for Canadian customers.

Founded by Professor Yoshua Bengio of the University of Montreal, Mila is an academic research center for "deep learning", bringing together over 1,200 specialized researchers in machine learning. It is based in Montreal and funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy.
