Telus Partnering with AI Company Movius

04:59 PM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TELUS ( TU ) (T.TO, TU) after trade Tuesday said it is partnering with AI-software company Movius "to revolutionize business communications in Canada".

A statement said the pair are collaborating on the Telus Unified MultiLine product, advanced secure communications software that enables employees to utilize a dedicated business identity across various devices, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and wearables.

"This partnership with Movius marks a pivotal moment in business communications as Telus Unified MultiLine combines enterprise-grade security, empowering Canadian organizations to boost productivity and prioritize information security," Heather Tulk, president, commercial and public sector, at Telus ( TU ), said in the release.

Telus ( TU ) shares closed up $0.20, or 1%, to $21.14 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
