02:19 PM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TELUS ( TU ) on Tuesday said it Wi-Fi 7 next-generation modems currently available only in British Columbia will soon be launched in Alberta and Quebec.

The company said Wi-Fi 7 is up to four times faster than its Wi-Fi 6 modem.

New and existing TELUS ( TU ) customers can upgrade to experience faster Wi-Fi speeds, significantly lower latency, and the ability to seamlessly connect more devices at the same time.

Telus ( TU ) shares were last seen up $0.015 to $22.315 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
