Tesla Begins Taking Orders of New Model 3 Variant

12:43 PM EDT, 04/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) has begun taking orders for the performance variant of its Model 3 sedan in the United States, the company's website showed Tuesday.

The car is touted to be the fastest Model 3 with a top speed of 163 miles per hour with a listed retail price of nearly $53,000, according to the company's website.

Some details about the car were leaked earlier this month, according to media reports.
