Tesla Produces Nearly 469,800 Vehicles, Delivers 462,890 Units in Q3

09:31 AM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) said early Wednesday it produced 469,796 vehicles during the three months ended Sept. 30, with customers taking delivery of 462,890 vehicles during Q3.

The electric vehicles manufacturer's Model 3/Y comprised the bulk of its Q3 production and deliveries, with 443,668 and 439,975 vehicles, respectively. It produced 26,128 other vehicles and delivered 22,915 units of the other vehicles during Q3.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha had been expecting Tesla to deliver 432,400 Model 3/Y vehicles during the quarter, up 3.2% over year-ago levels, along with 15,500 units of its Model S/X vehicles.
