Texas judge dismisses Humana challenge to Medicare plan ratings

July 18 (Reuters) - A Texas federal judge dismissed a

lawsuit brought by health insurer Humana challenging the

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' reduction in its

star ratings for government-funded Medicare plans.

Humana filed the lawsuit in September 2023 in the Northern

District of Texas against the U.S. Department of Health and

Human Services and former Health Secretary Xavier Becerra.
