04:46 AM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Textron ( TXT ) said Monday its TRU Simulation unit's Bell 525 full-flight simulator at the Bell Training Academy was cleared by the Federal Aviation Administration for use in pilot training.

The clearance at "Interim Level C" lets pilots log more simulator hours on the 525 ahead of the helicopter's expected type certification, the company said.

The simulator includes high-fidelity visuals, a realistic cockpit, and an advanced motion system to mirror real flight, Textron ( TXT ) said.

It is built to replicate the Bell 525's performance to support training as the program advances, the company added.
