03:45 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The9 ( NCTY ) said Friday its subsidiary, Shanghai The9 Information Technology, has agreed to acquire a 51% stake in Shanghai ZhongXinShun Network Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai ZhongShun HengXin Network Technology.

As part of the deal, the company said ZhongShun will contribute exclusive rights to two mobile games, including Glory All Stars and Ultraman, to the joint venture.

All after-tax profits of the joint venture will be distributed quarterly in line with each partner's ownership, the company said.

It added that the consideration for the 51% stake includes 69 million renminbi ($9.7 million) in cash and 46 million renminbi in its restricted shares.

Both the cash and share payments will be made in installments and are subject to the joint venture meeting profit targets over the next three years, the company said.
