Tilly's Reports Fiscal Q2 Profit as Sales Fall; Shares Rise After Hours

04:48 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tilly's (TLYS) reported fiscal Q2 earnings of $0.10 per diluted share, compared with breakeven a year earlier.

A single analyst polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.04.

Net sales in the 13 weeks ended Aug. 2 fell to $151.3 million from $162.9 million a year earlier, the company said late Wednesday in a statement.

A lone analyst polled by FactSet expected $154 million.

The company expects a fiscal Q3 net loss of $0.23 to $0.35 a share on net sales of $134 million to $140 million.

A single analyst polled by FactSet forecast a loss of $0.37 a share on revenue of $141.1 million.

Tilly's shares rose 5.4% in recent after-hours trading, paring earlier gains.
