TotalEnergies Starts Production at Lapa South-West Project in Brazil

05:33 PM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) said Wednesday it has started production at the Lapa South-West project in Brazil's Santos Basin, about 300 kilometers offshore.

The project, which consists of three wells connected to the existing Lapa floating production, storage, and offloading unit, is expected to boost production from the Lapa field by 25,000 barrels per day.
