TotalEnergies to Acquire 49% Stake in Natural Gas Producing Assets in Oklahoma
Sep 29, 2025 1:11 AM

03:45 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) said Monday it has agreed to acquire a 49% stake in natural gas producing assets owned and operated by Continental Resources in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma.

The financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

TotalEnergies expects the transaction to strengthen its integration across the liquified natural gas value chain in the US.

The assets have the potential to reach gross production of about 350 million standard cubic feet per day by 2030 and enable TotalEnergies to secure net gas production of around 150 MMscfd, the company said.
