The milestone coincides with the first National Bunion Day in the US, sponsored by the company on April 16, alongside the launch of its patient education and brand awareness campaign, the company said.

A bunion is a complex bond deformity caused by an unstable midfoot joint.

The Lapiplasty procedure corrects all three dimensions of the deformity and stabilizes the joint with patented tools and methods, the company said.
