07:27 AM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TreeHouse Foods ( THS ) said Monday it has agreed to acquire certain subsidiaries that operate the private brand tea business of Harris Freeman for about $205 million.

The deal includes Harris Tea's manufacturing facilities in Moorestown, New Jersey, and Marietta, Georgia, along with about 300 team members.

The transaction, expected to close in Q1, will be funded primarily with cash on hand and is expected to enhance TreeHouse's growth and margins.
