Turbo Energy to Supply Energy Storage Systems to Power Uber's EV Fleet in Spain

09:12 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Turbo Energy ( TURB ) said Wednesday it signed an agreement to supply solar energy storage systems for Uber Technologies' ( UBER ) electric vehicle fleet in Spain.

The solar energy storage company said Sunbox Industry systems were installed to create a 1 megawatt to 2 megawatt storage hub at a site even though the site's grid connection can only supply 600 kilowatts. The systems added 1,000 kW of flexible storage capacity and provided seamless charging without overloading the grid, Turbo Energy ( TURB ) said.

The technology includes automated controls to adjust charging based on grid supply and battery levels, the company said.

Turbo Energy ( TURB ) shares were up 5% while Uber ( UBER ) shares were edging 0.3% higher in recent premarket activity.
