06:54 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said Tuesday that its joint venture with Black Construction has won a $181.8 million task order from the US Navy for work on the Guam Defense System - Enhanced Integrated Air and Missile Defense Phase 1 project.

The company said the contract, funded by the Department of Defense's Pacific Deterrence Initiative, involves building a new missile defense site with its own power generation facility, including backup power, fuel storage, water systems, and infrastructure.

Two optional additions could raise the contract value by another $12.1 million, the company said.

It added that construction is expected to begin in early 2026, and the project will be added to its backlog in Q3.
