12:04 PM EDT, 04/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said Wednesday that its unit Roy Anderson was awarded a contract for Hangar 3 of Project Titan at Pensacola International Airport by the City of Pensacola.
The award is valued at about $72.7 million and includes the design and construction of a pre-engineered metal building hangar with a central shop, perimeter offices, support areas, and a 300-space asphalt parking lot, according to the company.
Tutor Perini ( TPC ) said it will begin construction in August and expects substantial completion of the project in the summer of 2026.
The company separately said that the joint venture of its unit Black Construction and Mace International received an award of three projects with a combined value of about $54.5 million from the US Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific District.
The award covers repairs of north parking apron, phase 2, repairs to the incinerator building and repair of DG1 road, Tuto Perini added.
The company said contract values for all these awards were included in its backlog starting in Q1.
