Twilio Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Increase; Q3 Guidance Set -- Shares Jump After Hours

05:42 PM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Twilio ( TWLO ) reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $0.87 per diluted share, up from $0.54 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.70.

Revenue for the quarter that ended June 30 was $1.08 billion, up from $1.04 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.06 billion.

The company expects Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $0.81 to $0.86 per diluted share. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.73.

The company expects Q3 revenue of $1.09 billion to $1.10 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.09 billion.

The company expects full-year 2024 organic revenue growth of 6% to 7%. Analysts expect $4.35 billion in revenue.

Company shares traded 6.8% higher in after-hours activity.
