CHICAGO, Sept 5 (Reuters) - U.S. cattle producers have
stopped slashing their herds, Tyson Foods ( TSN ) chief
financial officer said on Thursday, after supplies dwindled due
to dry weather that limited pasture land available for grazing.
The meatpacker is still not seeing signs that producers are
starting to rebuild herds in a meaningful way, CFO Curt Calaway
said on the webcast of a Barclays investor conference.
