LUCERNE, Switzerland (Reuters) - In an advisory vote, UBS shareholders on Thursday backed the bank's 2024 compensation report with 86.7% of votes, compared to 83.5% for the same report a year earlier.

CEO Sergio Ermotti's total pay was 14.9 million Swiss francs ($17.74 million) in 2024, with the bank keeping his remuneration in check as it navigates a tense political debate about how it is regulated.

($1 = 0.8400 Swiss francs)
