04:36 PM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- UDR (UDR) late Thursday said Mike Lacy is now its chief operating officer, moving up after more than five years in his prior position as senior vice president for operations at the real estate investment trust.

UDR also said company President and Chief Financial Officer Joe Fisher was named chief investment officer.

Fisher will remain in his current role as CFO in addition to taking on the duties for his new post during the search for a permanent finance chief. Once that person is identified and hired, Fisher will relinquish CFO responsibilities while remaining president and chief investment officer, the company said.

Both appointments took effect with the start of 2025, it said.
