UK Watchdog Clears Boeing's Acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems

05:59 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Competition and Markets Authority said Friday that it has approved Boeing's ( BA ) planned acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ) .

While the British regulator didn't provide detailed reasoning in its initial announcement, it said a full decision will be published soon.

Boeing ( BA ) and Spirit did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
