09:10 AM EDT, 08/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Under Armour ( UAA ) reported a fiscal Q1 loss Thursday of $0.70 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.02 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.13.

Net revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.18 billion, down from $1.32 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.14 billion.

The company said it now expects fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings of $0.19 to $0.22 per share. That compares with $0.18 to $0.21 previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are looking for $0.20.

Shares of the company were up nearly 10% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
