03:09 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Union Pacific ( UNP ) said Wednesday it finalized long-term contracts with 11 unions covering 12 crafts and nearly half its craft workforce.

The company said two major unions, SMART-TD and BLET, have accepted interim agreements that provide 3% wage hikes starting Sept. 1 as talks continue.

Union Pacific ( UNP ) added the ratified contracts span five years and include pay increases effective July 1, 2025, along with extra vacation, health and welfare improvements, and work rule revisions.
