United Microelectronics Q2 Earnings Decline, Operating Revenue Increases

05:48 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- United Microelectronics ( UMC ) reported Q2 earnings Wednesday of 3.55 New Taiwan dollars ($0.12) per American depositary share, down from NT$5.55 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected NT$4.13.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was NT$58.76 billion, up from NT$56.80 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected NT$57.26 billion.
