08:52 AM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- United States Antimony ( UAMY ) said it began exploration and bulk sampling operations on Stibnite Hill, adjacent to its Thompson Falls, Montana smeltering operation, after obtaining the necessary permits from the Department of Environmental Quality earlier this month.

A number of antimony ore loads has now been transported to a flotation mill in Montana for crushing and sampling ahead of further metallurgical review, the company said, adding it is "highly encouraged" by the material's quality.

Shares of the company were down more than 5% in recent premarket activity Friday.
