04:54 PM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uniti (UNIT) said Wednesday its shareholders approved the planned merger with an affiliate of Windstream Holdings II at a special meeting.

More than 90% of shares present and represented at the meeting voted in favor of the merger, the company said.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
