08:22 AM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Unusual Machines ( UMAC ) , a maker of drones and drone components, said Friday that it has received orders for more than 6,700 Rotor Riot Brave F7 flight controllers since being approved and listed on the Blue UAS Framework on Aug. 7.
The product is the first flight controller on the Blue UAS Framework list designed specifically for first-person view, or FPV, flight, the company said.
"This listing positions Unusual Machines ( UMAC ) as a provider of FPV technology to the United States Department of Defense as well as commercial customers seeking alternatives to components produced in restricted regions or in China," the company said.
Shares of Unusual Machines ( UMAC ) were more than 5% higher in premarket trading.
