Update: AbbVie Shares Rise After Q4 Tops Estimates

AbbVie ( ABBV ) shares were up 6.9% in recent Friday trading after the drugmaker reported Q4 results that exceeded analysts' expectations.

The company earlier reported Q4 adjusted earnings of $2.16 per diluted share, down from $2.79 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.12.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $15.1 billion, compared with $14.30 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $14.83 billion.

For full-year 2025, the company expects adjusted earnings of $12.12 to $12.32 per diluted share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $12.15.
