Update: Amazon Plans to Invest $6.23 Billion in Poland Through 2028

Amazon.com ( AMZN ) said Thursday it plans to invest 23 billion Polish zlotys ($6.23 billion) in Poland between 2026 and 2028 as part of its long-term expansion in the country.

The company said the investment includes the opening of a new robotic fulfillment center in Dobromierz, which is expected to start operations in 2026.

Amazon ( AMZN ) said it has invested more than 45 billion zlotys in Poland since 2012 across infrastructure, technology development, job creation, and support for small and medium-sized businesses.

Additionally, the company said it also plans to expand its Prime offering in Poland, including a broader slate of local productions on Prime Video.

Amazon.com ( AMZN ) shares were 0.5% lower in Thursday premarket activity.
